As we know all too well, it can be difficult to feel accepted and understood in Veteran spaces dominated by men. We want to pursue the same goals of reclaiming that sense of purpose and community, but often face unique challenges that our male peers don’t quite understand. In this context, it can be hard to find our place.
It is a safe space among military sisters who get it and always have your six. It is a place to connect, share experiences and resources, and explore our own personal missions as proud women Veterans.
Led by Challenge America, MSI was designed by and for military women. Co-Founder of MSI, Army Veteran and Director of the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, Zaneta Adams, had the original vision for the Sisterhood and helped to put the pieces in place to make it a reality.
Acumen Solutions partnered with Challenge America to design and manage the MSI platform.
